To ensure that proper methods are practiced in the processing of all Cargill products so as to guarantee its quality. Manufacture of floater or sinker aqua feeds to ensure that the physical and nutritional qualities of the feeds meets the required specification.
KRA 1. Safety
1.1 Comply with the safety policies and guidelines of the company a zero accident environment.
1.2 No safety incident involvement.
1.3 Must submit atleast 3 safe report/2 safe track observation report.
1.4 100% attendance/participation in FY Safety planned Activities such as meetings, trainings, seminars, etc.
1.5 Act a lead person in enforcing the company safety policies and guidelines to co-employee, contractors and visitors, etc.
KRA 2. Safe Products
2.1 The UPC system will be operated in a manner that will prevent cross contamination which will affect the food safety, physical quality and consistency of the product.
2.2 Must ensure that bagging bins are totally empty before charging them with a new type of product especially when the new product is of a different type, product form – floating or sinking.
2.3 Start-up and choke-up wastes must be promptly collected, weighed and identified so as to be blended back to succeeding runs or based on blending guidelines.
2.4 Must conduct durability or PDI test.
2.5 Conduct Water Stability test.
2.6 Conduct Floatability/Sinkability test.
2.7 Must check the dimensions/size of the products at the die exit. Ensure that dimensions would fall within the standard range.
2.8 Ensure that the products that are run through the UPC should have a moisture content of NMT 10.5%. Must conduct a weekly Pellet Moisture Audit per pelleting line based on the procedure outlined in the CFN product integrity manual.
2.9 Conduct effective housekeeping/Cleaning at the UPC area, Hammermill Line 2 area, Geelen dryer/cooler, twine cyclone to ensure that they do not pose contamination risk to products and ingredients as well as maintaining good personal hygiene.
KRA 3. Maintains Operational Key Measures and Criteria
3.1 Implement housekeeping standard inside the plant at all times.
3.2 Perform and meet standard criteria set by Animal Nutrition Audits.
KRA 4. Perform other functions in different/machines/equipments in the feed production processes for self-development and in the absence of assigned operators.
4.1 Performs key function in operation like CCRO, PMO, bagging, receiving and forklift operation in accordance with SOP’s.
4.2 Assist and perform minor maintenance work to maintain the plant and equipment efficiency specially during nightshift operation.
4.3 Performs Receiving man activities for proper allocation of ingredients on feed processing.
4.4 Performs CCRO/PMO functions ensuring compliance in all SOP’s.
4.5 Performs other functions as required or when necessary considering operator capabilities and qualifications.
KRA 5. Performs preventive maintenance on equipment in order to maintain the designed capacities and maximize plant efficiency.
5.1 Able to troubleshoot each equipment incase of breakdown (i.e. UPC, Screeners, Hammermill, slide gates etc.).
5.2 Maintain the equipment in good condition by cleaning and/or as scheduled as well as the UPC area.
5.3 Conduct daily magnet and filter cleaning.
KRA 6. Records and Documentation
6.1 Conducts regular update on information/data inventory on computer software application such as LRT and Microsoft excel.
6.2 Accomplish Productivity Improvement Sheet (PIS) in a timely manner. (real time)
6.3 Consolidates daily and monthly inventory of raw Materials and finished product.
6.4 Update records and documents for FSQR and production audits.
A graduate/undergraduate of Engineering or related course.
At least one year experience in a manufacturing plant.
Knows how to interpret process flow diagram or schematics.
Knowledge of machine troubleshooting
Basic computer knowledge (MSWord, Excel and Power point)
Good in written and oral communication.
Must exhibit good interpersonal skills and can work effectively in the organization.
Able to work for long hours and night shift.
