Description:

  • Works with Project Managers, Administrators, and Business Units to provide guidance and expertise throughout the financial analysis on Project Cost and Revenue for Mexico projects

  • Review of EPC and Development Project budget by checking its sufficiency and coordinate with respective Project and Development Manager regarding adjustments and justifications for the changes made in their budget.

  • Analyzes and reports variance between budgets and actual spending of projects.

  • Ensure SOX compliance for both key and non-key controls

  • Performs financial close activity such as project accruals including subcontractor and overhead cost accrual

  • Record debt draw financing under credit agreement and prepares account reconciliations for cash, notes payable, accrued interest etc. and investigate variances on project-related accounts

  • Responsibilities include the preparation of management reporting such as monthly and quarterly financial reports and revenue and cost flux analysis, such as Sales Cycle Review Materials, Legal Entity Review and BOQ/EOQ Analysis

  • Develop and lead improvements to achieve efficient and effective planning and reporting processes

  • Occasional international business travel to perform quarterly budget and revenue project review for all EPC and Development Projects

  • Build strong partnerships with Cross-functional Finance & Accounting Team and business leadership across key lines of business

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficient to MS Excel and PowerPoint presentation

  • Good understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and IFRS reporting

  • Knowledge in SOX

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Accountancy

  • CPA is an advantage

  • Experience in various accounting areas like General Acctg, Financing, Cost Acctg & Revenue Acctg

  • Preferably at least 2 yrs in full cycle accounting

  • Experience in Project Accounting Module-Oracle is an advantage

  • Analytical and keen to Details

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Can work well at different levels of the organization

  • With no record of deliberate violation of any SPML program, policies, and guidelines.

  • Willing to work in Sta. Rosa, Laguna

  • Willing to travel as needed
