Prepares income and balance sheet statements, consolidated statements and various other accounting statements and reports. Analyzes financial reports and records, making recommendations relative to the accounting of reserves, assets, liabilities, revenue and expenditures. Prepares, reviews, and verifies the accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications assigned to various records and Account Reconciliations. Develops or recommends accounting methods and procedures. Implements controls and evaluates actions required to ensure compliance with the company’s accounting policies and policies. Performs regular and special analysis and Account Reconciliations to ensure accuracy and proper accounting.


  • Develops, implements and/or maintains one or more accounting systems: Journal entries, General Ledger, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable, Revenue Reconciliation, etc.

  • Reviews and interprets financial reporting requirements, rules and regulations.

  • Applies intermediate subject matter knowledge, including principles, theories and concepts, to solve a variety of common business issues.

  • Refers particularly complex issues to higher levels for resolution.

  • Applies intermediate subject matter knowledge, including principles, theories and concepts, to solve a variety of common business issues.

  • Balances books and prepares profit and loss, cash flow, income and balance sheet statements. Monitors and develops monthly reports of revenues and expenditures for projects.

  • Provides record of assets, liabilities and other financial transactions. May prepare federal, state and local reports and tax returns.

  • May assist in the setup of processes and procedures that properly capture, track and report revenue, including deferred revenue, in accordance with the company revenue recognition policy. May generate revenue reports for internal and/or external use.

  • May interpret reports and records for managers/stakeholders. May be involved in reviewing, tracking and maintaining billing information in the financial systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with U.S. GAAP and other accounting regulations.

  • Reviews and ensures accuracy of PL accounts of SPMX.

  • Prepares reports of outstanding items and drives to resolution.

  • Assists in performing month-end closing.

  • Prepares journal entries for re-class, intercompany and miscellaneous items.

  • Assists in providing Internal and External Audit requirements.

  • Balances sheet accounts review.

  • Complies at all times the Environment, Health and Safety and Manufacturing Quality standards, rules and regulations.


Minimum requirements

  • Educational: Bachelor degree in Accountancy

  • Experience: At least two (2) years to four (4) years work experience on GL and FS preparation

  • Skills/ Competencies:

a. Good in oral and written communication skills;

b. Can deal with executives and business unit leaders;

c. Aggressive or strong personality and highly analytical;

d. Can work with minimum supervision

  • IT tools: Knowledgeable in MS office applications;

  • Languages: English

Preferred requirements

  • Educational: Certified Public Accountant

  • Skills/ Competencies: Knowledgeable on Sarbanes Oxley

  • IT tools: Knowledgeable on Oracle application
