This includes a curriculum of both technical and customer interaction training. Technical Consultants working within this program will interact with customers over the phone to troubleshoot Schneider Electronic products and solutions.

Technical Consultants will be responsible for ensuring a high level of Customer Satisfaction

Core functions include:

  • Post-sales technical support for Schneider Electric’s core product line and product selection services.

  • Understanding of system availability concepts and Schneider Electric’s solutions for providing uptime.

  • Consultants are required to interpret policies and make business decisions under pressure, based on customer and company needs to meet aggressive deadlines with minimal supervision

  • Assist customers including Electrical Distributors, End Users, Original Equipment Manufacturers, Consultants, and Contractors with product selection and configuration

  • Provide technical product application support for Circuit Protection, Distribution Equipment, and Industrial Controls

  • Deliver technical support to sales engineers to assist in developing new business opportunities

  • Advocate for customer to seek a suitable solution or work around that meets the needs of the customer Collaborate with internal functions such as Marketing, Engineering, and Quality.

  • Develop and review knowledge documentation including white papers, troubleshooting guides and knowledge articles

  • Participate in company initiatives for revenue generation.

  • Other tasks assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Prior Call Center Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Technology or related discipline

  • Fluency in English; bilingual skills are an added benefit

  • Ability to work in a dynamic, global environment and have a high level of aptitude and interest in technology

  • Exhibit excellent problem solving skills, interpersonal and organizational communication skills, and proficiency in a multitude of software platforms

Experience:

Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Networking, Engineering (all), other Technical Programs

Critical Competencies: Communication skills, technical aptitude, conflict resolution, comfort with office environment, ability to work within a team, PC literacy, aptitude to learn new concepts and adapt to change quickly.
