Schneider Electric Regional Supply Planner in Cavite, Philippines

Regional Supply Planner is responsible for finished goods Inventory Planning, Management & Optimization activities in EAJP Region. The role requires advanced knowledge in supply planning and material management, data analytic skills, involvement in Product Life Cycle Project, Process improvements, cross-functional collaboration.

Inventory Management

  • Supply planner is responsible for a scope of finished products inventory management in defined Distribution Centers

  • Analyse Finished goods inventory healthiness, conduct Root Cause analysis, propose improvement actions for Excess and Obsolete stock reduction

  • Conduct root cause analysis on provision and re-forecasting, apply business intelligence with the collaboration with product managers to minimize P&L; impact.

  • Perform and Coordinate periodical stocking policy review with marketing product managers, executes changes with procurement, master data and relevant stakeholders

  • Coordinates stock re-balancing within EAJP and other regions

DRP (Distribution Requirement Planning) & SIOP

  • Collect, analyse, split, challenge sales forecast, incorporate qualitative data in replenishment forecast (i.e.: promotion, price campaign, industrial transfer, new product launch, substitution)

  • Understand the forecast fluctuation from demand planner handover

  • Generate & transmit the distribution plan to plant for Master Production Scheduling, discuss any spikes or drops in forecast

  • Support Supplier collaboration through SIOP Step 3

Master Data & Planning Parameter maintenance

  • Ensure quality of master data, alignment of planning parameters. Escalate proactively any unsolved data inaccuracy

  • Performs periodical parameter optimization (ABC/FMR, Safety Stock, Lot Size, Air Sea Ratio)


  • Participate on projects effectively through the Project Life Cycle (NPI, EOL..etc)

  • Provide support to Project leaders in determining stocking policy and parameters and launch quantity

  • Monitoring unhealthy stock associated with new launches and escalate to project leaders and SIOP

Reports, Process improvement and others

  • Review OTDS to derive strategy to improve customer satisfaction

  • Actively supports improvement action plans (i.e.: Special care business lines, End to End Leadtime)

  • Provide relevant reports to other functions when requested

  • Pro-actively source solutions with the analysis of data and make recommendations

  • Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization

  • Provide advice and support to other areas of the business

Education: Tertiary qualification in Operations, Supply Chain or Logistics or equivalent plus APICS or similar Industry standard

Years on Job related Experience: Prior experience in inventory or supply chain planning in a multi-site, high reference business

Business Understanding: Commercial / logistics / industrial related, preferably in inventory and production planning

Geographical Responsibility: 2 or more Countries (EAJ)

Others: Able to work in a multi-cultural environment
