Warehouse Supervisor


Responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and controlling the various warehousing and dispensing and production service activities, in accordance with established policies and procedures to provide the raw and packaging materials and services (project based employee orientation, uniform and laundry) needed by Production in manufacturing the right quality product, of the right quantity, at the right time and at the least possible cost. Responsible for inventory monitoring, encoding of transactions and system maintenance for third party warehouse transfers, receiving, issuance and disposal of raw materials and finished goods.

  • Develops and implements procedures for the accurate receiving/ issuance and proper storage of RM/PM for production use.

  • Develops and implements monitoring and recording procedures that will effectively reconcile ending inventory balances with actual on hand. Monthly report of IRA.

  • Develops and implements procedures for the proper classification, labelling and systematic arrangement of material. Monthly report pallet utilization.

  • Ensures that all RM’s and PM’s are allocated and prepared within lead time to support production schedule.

  • Group coordination with Planning/Purchasing., Production, QA/QC, TP Provider.

  • Coordination and monitoring of deliveries of RM’s/PM’s to different warehouses, including TP provider.

  • Materials transfer from TP warehouses.

  • Controls and monitors sampling activities for RM’s and FG’s for quality testing

  • Prepares/recommends realistic but challenging annual operating budget and capital expenditure budget, and recommends plans to meet budget.

  • Generates and implements productivity projects and provide support for early completion.

  • Develops and implements procedures to control/minimize wastage of RM/PM.

  • Preparation and processing of disposal and write-off documents including certificate of disposal with BIR. Coordinates actual transport and disposal with accredited waste management contractors (Incineration and Destruction)

  • Reviews current material disposal process and recommends improvement to control wastages.

  • Regularly checks and follows up strict and consistent performance to EHS standards and practices. Institute disciplinary measures for validated unsafe practices.

  • Investigates and promptly reports safety incidents in assigned production area and develop implement corrective and preventive actions.

  • Reviews and analyses EHS accidents, incidents and audit findings and develops/ implements plans to prevent recurrence.

  • Ensures compliance of manufacturing operations to food safety/HACCP program, Product Quality Plan, SOP’s, cGMP, and other quality and hygiene requirements.

  • Reviews and analyses GMP compliance audit and develops/implements action plans to improve compliance.

  • Establish standards of cleanliness and orderliness in area of responsibility.

  • Collaborates with Maintenance Manager in establishing proactive and preventive maintenance of material handling equipments such as forklifts and pallet trucks.

  • Coordinates calibration of instruments in area of responsibility.

  • Plans, organizes, and directs activities that ensure timely, quality, cost effective delivery to Production (project based employee/casual headcount administration, uniform supply, laundry).

  • Pallet monitoring, replenishment and maintenance.

  • Formulates and updates Programs and SOPs related to Inventory and Logistics & Warehouse Management.

  • Relieves Production Supervisor or any supervisory function in Supply Chain whenever necessary.

  • Coordinates Production support and Warehousing operations and link activities to the rest of Supply Chain Department when the Production Support Manager and/or Warehousing Operations Manager is/are not around.

  • Performs especial projects and developmental assignments for the Plant and/or Supply Chain as may be assigned by the Plant Manager and/or Supply Chain Director


  • College degree holder in any field of Engineering or Business related courses.

  • Requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in Warehousing operations, preferably in Food processing plant or Pharmaceutical plant.

  • Exposure to Production operations is preferred.

  • Must have good qualities of leadership and basic supervisory functions of planning, organizing, leading and controlling.

  • Must have very good oral and written communication skills.
