AMO SMB Regional Sales Manager/ Team Leader
developing new accounts and/or expanding existing accounts within an
established geographic territory, industry, product segment or channel
(For Manufacturing and WD Verticals for the SMB market in North
Play a key role in the development, delivery,
management and continuous improvement of sales training and enablement
programs, grow Associate Account Managers to productive, overachieving
AMO ICs, and manage a portfolio of mid-market customers. Building and
manage a team of account managers covering the SMB space for the
Products (Manufacturing and WD) verticals, driving toward quarterly and
annual sales targets in the installed base of customer. Serve as an
internal advocate for our customer base and hit both retention and
upsell targets by ensuring that accounts are fully leveraging NetSuite
and that their needs are being met and exceeded by the company. Perform
day to day management of the team, including account planning,
forecasting, strategic planning and hiring and developing of AMO reps.
Work cross functionally with Solution Consulting, Client Management,
Support and Professional Services to address the needs and issues of the
teams accounts in order to convert customer requirements into sales
Hire, develop, and ultimately make successful
sales professionals. Manage business to (over)achieve key sales targets .
Develop and execute a sales plan that supports short and long term
goals and customers’ business value and strategy. Set expectations with
senior sales management through timely and accurate forecasting,
pipeline and sales activity reporting. Support and mentor Account
Managers, as required, during all stage of the sales cycle and account
management process. Motivate individuals to succeed through impassioned
leadership, coaching, development of creative sales incentives, and
broadcast of results. Internal and deliver the value proposition clearly
and persuasively to a variety of different audiences, including C-Level
executives. Develop a deep understanding of the product offering,
customer need, and competitive landscape. Master and enforce NetSuite
Sales Policy guidelines.
Detailed Description and Job Requirements
The primary focus is to plan, manage and develop a team of OD Prime Sales Representatives. Develops and implements a comprehensive strategy that maximizes Oracle's opportunities across a subset of products, product lines or services directly or via partners to small-and medium sized accounts.
Manages a team of OD prime sales representatives for a territory/region. Participates as a team member in strategic and tactical planning for the division. Develops working relationships with license, consulting, education, and/or support field managers to develop joint account plans. Develops and executes strategic plans utilizing resources from various marketing and sales functions to maximize revenue with frequent guidance from the area manager or director. Responsible for coaching, performance management, and career development of staff. Participates in the recruiting process and provides hiring recommendations to senior management. Handles escalations and participates directly in complex sales situations to negotiate and/or resolve disputes and ensure customer satisfaction. Conducts sales forecasts, territory planning, demand generation, deal strategy development and trend analysis.
Leads a specialized area which may have diverse functional elements. Frequently interacts with supervisors and/or functional peer group managers. May interact with senior management. Thorough understanding of Oracle's products and services. Ability to lead sales team in all areas of the sales cycle. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to negotiate price, other concessions and terms and conditions. Strong quantitative, analytical, and conflict resolution ability. Degree in Business or Computer Science 5 years sales or sales management experience.
