  • Management and Strategy

  • Manage the day to day operational aspects of all Citigroup Corporate premises. Key back up to the CRS Country Head. Implementing and managing a Country/cluster Asset Management strategy for the portfolio to support the business plan

  • Providing ad hoc reports to CRS Local and regional management.

  • Financial Management

  • Manage, controls, analyzes, forecasts and reports expense for each assigned facility

  • Assist in preparing annual budgets for all CRS capital works and expenses; monitoring expenditure against plan and preparing variance analysis reports.

  • Inventory management of Citigroup’s non-technology assets including reporting to local financial control teams and external auditors

  • Risk Management and Compliance

  • Ensuring compliance with Citigroup’s CRS Operating policies and procedures, Health and Environmental standards and with all related local regulations. Employing continuous improvement techniques to work toward minimizing/eliminating health, safety and environmental risks to staff, clients and contractors as well as to premises and assets

  • Ensure compliance with Asset Management related Citi/CRS policies and standards, together with any local Authority regulations. Maintain records and reports as required

  • Identify and investigates legal and regulatory issues. Is responsible for maintaining code compliance, environmental guidelines, critical systems testing and emergency procedures in the facility

  • Ensure preventive facilities maintenance program is maintained and regularly updated as required, utilizing and coordinating contracted services and vendors, in accordance with Citi’s guidelines in order to minimize equipment failure and maximize equipment efficiency

  • Periodically inspect facilities and ensure proper operation and management of all building systems

  • Responsible for obtaining all necessary building related licenses and permits

  • Ensure timely reporting and updates to Citigroup Insurance Risk Management (CIRM) on all matters relating to building insurance.

  • All other compliance requirements relating to the Asset Management function including but not limited to Risk and Control Self Assessment. Records Retention and Information Security

  • Vendor Management

  • Conducting proactive Vendor Management in line with Citigroup procedures; to include maintenance of approved vendor list, tendering, awarding and monitoring of contracts and any other procurement activity related to the Asset Management function

  • Management of all aspects of outsourced resources including performance measurement through the development and utilization of Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators

  • Business Relationships

  • Key Customer Liaison with businesses and tenants to facilitate all occupancy needs and requirement

  • Liaising with Building owners, Managing Agents and tenants (if any) on all aspects of Asset Management Activities but especially to lease obligations and building resilience

  • Liaising with and supporting, where applicable, other CRS functions to ensure effective project delivery and customer service

  • Adopting a creative and proactive approach to Asset Management to go beyond customer expectations and contribute to Citigroups overall objectives



  • Knowledge of local regulations and building controls authorities policies/procedures

  • Knowledge of local vendors/contractors and their best practices

  • Comprehensive knowledge and expertise in building systems

  • Good working knowledge of practical Health and Safety within the built environment

  • Practical experience of Procurement activity especially in relation to the specification of services contracts and fabric plant and equipment replacement

  • Good experience in an International Corporate environment, including building/property management and maintenance management


  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English

  • Strong understanding of REMS or similar applications and other R/E software as applicable

  • Experience in using Microsoft Office software in a business problem solving context

  • Strong analytical skills. Experience in financial management and budget control

  • Recognized qualification in Real Estate, Facilities Management or Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, is of assistance but not essential
