Cloud Application Migration Services (CAMS) is part of the Cloud Application Innovation (CAI) growth area within IBM’s GBS Consulting wing. CAMS includes practice teams in cloud application development, cloud advisory, big data, security and complex systems architecture and integration.Job Responsibilities
As part of the cloud application development practice the role will act as a customer focused Business Analyst to become part of an Agile delivery squad on a digital banking project.
Responsible for understanding, documenting and re-modelling client processes as part of their digital transformation
Support daily/weekly Agile processes and meetings at all stages of the project lifecycle.
Act as checks and balances quality assurance to ensure processes are implemented in the defined technology solution and closing feedback loop as part of the continuous service improvement agenda.
To assist client change programmes by ensuring user journeys, operating models and requirements are clearly understood.
Comfortable running internal and client facing workshops and other project meetings.
Potentially running team of junior BA’s of 6+ resources.
Work closely with IBM development teams onshore and offshore to lead them to compliant system build in line with client expectations.
Act as the link between the business and technology teams. Able to convey often complex technology concepts to non-technology audiences.
Preferred Skills and Experience
DevOps experience and associated technology stacks
Understanding of technologies supporting Agile project management (e.g. Jira)
Understanding of mainframe technologies and the integration to front end mobile applications.
5+ years experience in BA roles with proven business analysis skills in time pressured projects preferably in an Agile environment.
Data analysis skills (Excel).
Project management trained / professional PM qualified.
Excellent interpersonal skills and gravitas.
Able to demonstrate ability to go the extra mile to ensure client success. As a result of this the role demands flexibility in working hours and travel commitments.
Banking domain knowledge – understanding of current opportunities and challenges in Financial Services industry and the shift industry digitisation is playing.
Experience in a client facing role demonstrating presentation skills, as well as having the ability to communicate with client management and executives
