Position Title Resident Engineer (Port Project) (Philippines) (24 Months)

Job Description and Responsibilities:
Direct point of contact with Client’s team and the Contractor at construction site level.
Day to day Contract Administration.
To check all drawings and Specifications and ensure the latest copy is kept in site office at all times.
Issue of site instructions and approvals to commence work in line with delegated authority.
Monitor the performance of the Contractor and progress of the works to ensure the satisfactory progress of the project as a whole.
Supervision of the execution of the contract works, including monitoring of impacts of the construction activities and ensure standard of material, workmanships, quality control of all civil / structural works are satisfactorily achieved.
To check and sign off Daily, Weekly and Monthly Site reports submitted by Contractor.
Arrange site progress meetings and progress reporting
Keep proper record of all works including but not limited to tests, inspections, minutes of site meeting.
Appraise the Client Representative and AECOM Project Management Team fully advised on all matters relating to the work on site.
Financial forecasts of the anticipated expenditure of the Project.
Assess variations and claims with the support of QS.
Manage the supervision team including deployment of staff
Prepare for and organize site visits by the Client Representative / AECOM Project Management Team and others when necessary.
Deal with any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the AECOM Project Management Team.
Abide by and perform to the best of his abilities all functions, duties and responsibilities to be assigned by EMPLOYER in due course.
Comply with the orders and instructions given from time to time by EMPLOYER through its authorized representatives.
Will not disclose any confidential information in respect of the affairs of EMPLOYER or its related parties or clients to any unauthorized person.
Shall comply with applicable rules and regulations of EMPLOYER.
Works under the general supervision of Associate Director, Technical Director/Business Line Leader, and Project Managers of specific projects
Supervisor a team of inspectors and site project staff
Strong knowledge of water/waste water management
Knowledge of Philippine environmental codes, laws and regulations
Knowledge of due diligence and compliance audit
A degree in Civil Engineering
Must be a PRC License
With at least ten (10) years of professional related experience of related experience and with at least five (5) years of Managerial and project management experience
