Database Specialist I
The CRM Manager will be responsible for a myriad of duties that will ensure cohesive management of the organisation’s database as well as the policing of the data that is housed within it.
One day you could be collaborating with the marketing team to gather campaign data requirements and designing, targeting, and developing their marketing mail lists – the next day you could be responsible for the improvement of the CRM data and its development and enhancement. No two days are the same.
You will therefore work closely with the CRM system and understand its data structure well enough to validate, maintain and modify existing and new customer information and ensure accurate and up to date data for sales and marketing purposes. Your role will be integral to the rest of the business as it feeds data that needs to be of an excellent quality for successful Sales and Campaign activity through to lead generation.
Marketing degree required; background in analytical discipline (e.g., Statistics/Mathematics, Economics) a strong plus
2 – 4 years direct marketing experience
Desired Personal Skills
experience in direct marketing, database marketing and campaign management, as well as data mining and customer segmentation.
Strong knowledge of relational databases and DB / CMS / NetSuite experience
Demonstrates problem–solving ability, including strong conceptual and analytical skills
Ability to multi task between a myriad of tasks that require different levels of brain power
High level of independent judgement, initiative and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple projects, adjust priorities as needed, and meet deadlines
Prioritise requests and action them within constraints whilst not compromising on attention to detail
Excellent oral communication skills
Excellent understanding and use of the English language to eliminate spelling errors in the database fields
Power user of Access, Excel, PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office products;
Demonstrate problem–solving ability, including strong conceptual and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and as a team member
High-energy, enthusiastic, and dependable individual who excels in challenging and fast paced environments
Desired technical skills
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office products, specifically Word, Excel, Access, Outlook and PowerPoint
Direct Marketing and B2B & B2C Direct Marketing experience a strong plus
NetSuite CRM experience a strong plus
