The role requires good functional knowledge of the Card management application and card life cycle management. Plan and manage application development and client delivery activities for an assigned application portfolio that may include small and simple software applications, moderately complex software applications or components of large and complex software applications.
Technical and Functional Skill Sets:
C/C++ Programming work experience on UNIX/LINUX environment
Knowledge of SDLC
Know-how of relational databases, web technologies
Knowledge of Oracle Tuxedo would be an added advantage
Strong functional knowledge of the Card management application and life cycle management for debit cards, Prepaid cards
Development experience on any of the card management application
EMV knowledge, card personalization and key management
Knowledge of EFT Switch and transaction processing would be added advantage
Familiar with the Networks Functionality w.r.t Authorization, clearing/settlement, certification, mandates etc.
Write technical documents
Inter-personal skills and competencies:
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities;
Proven ability to be flexible and work hard, both independently and in a team environment, in a high pressure on-call environment with changing priorities.
Willingness to work occasionally outside of normal business hours.
Excellent English oral and written communication skills.
Qualifications and Work experience:
- 6 years experience in Software development preferably in the Cards issuing domain
