Duties & Responsibilities:

To develop software tools and stand alone checkers that promote efficiency and quality

  • To create software solutions / simulations on diagnostic escape issues

  • Responsible in test equipment program(s) validation, verification, upgrade and/or repair

  • To work closely with other Engineers and/or other division(s) for process and quality improvements

  • Uses all digital and analog electronic test equipment and test systems to do board failure analysis and debugging

  • May support new product transfer start-up, and the improvement of the failure analysis process

Basic Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Education Required:

Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Communications Engineering or equivalent course(s)

  • With Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering or MicroElectronics is preferred

  • Has a high sense of urgency and can interface/lead with different level of positions in the Repair / Engineering / Customer team organizations

  • Excellent verbal and technical writing/reporting skills

  • Must be highly skilled in C++, Visual Basic, Microcontroller programming, Firmware programming, Schematic diagram and circuit design

  • Must possess high analytical skills

  • Flexible and able to handle multiple tasks and meet timelines

  • Internal applicants are highly encouraged
