The candidate is expected to:
Work with clients to offer a full payroll function service, from set up of a payroll system and process improvement advice to payroll processing
Be the main point of contact for a variety of clients for any day-to-day payroll queries
Be involved in payroll checking, reconciliation and payroll audit compliance for a range of clients
Liaise with our overseas talent hub to ensure payroll processing is completed on time, managing both internal and client deadlines
Update payroll records as necessary by entering changes in components such as but not limited exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job title and department/division transfers.
Be able to determine payroll liabilities by calculating employee federal and state income and social security taxes and other statutory payments as required.
Resolve payroll discrepancies/queries by collecting and analyzing information.
Analyze payroll information so as to answer questions and requests.
Perform adhoc reporting and other duties as necessary
The following are the qualifications:
A minimum of 2 years full function payroll experience including FBT, payroll tax, superannuation as well as payroll processing
Experience in Australia and New Zealand payroll essential
Exceptional client management skills, including experience dealing with payroll for with 200 or more employees
