JOB DESCRIPTION

As

a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in the delivery of Willis Towers

Watson’s HR technology solutions to clients.

The Role

This role will consult with clients to guide them through the process of defining site

requirements and recommend best practice approaches/solutions that optimize

system features to meet clients’ business needs. You will be responsible

for developing both functional and technical specifications, data consolidation

and calculations, managing development and testing tasks, and delivering client

training.

Key

Responsibilities

  • Analyze plan documentation,solicit, define, and document project requirements

  • Develop system specifications

  • Work with project team andclient to determine data requirements; prepare technical setup andspecifications for data capture, analysis, and reporting

  • Maintain contact with clienttechnical staff and outside vendor programmers

  • Import, maintain and editclient databases using Microsoft Access, SQL and Excel

  • Draft text, logic, andcalculations for personalized communication / T|R projects

  • Develop comprehensive testplans

  • Test calculations and sitelogic

  • Create and maintain projectdocumentation

  • Train client users on systemand provide on-going technical support

  • Identify and implement processimprovements.

Performance Objectives

Excellence

§ Operate with the highest-level of quality across all

tasks, activities and deliverables by leveraging standard processes, documents,

templates and tools

§ Accurate and timely maintenance of project status

dashboards – not to exceed 2 weeks

§ Pass-through client expenses and fees invoiced in a

timely manner

§ Respond to requests from the Collections team

including following with the Client in a timely manner

§ Operate with the highest-level of quality across all

tasks, activities and deliverables by leveraging standard processes, documents,

templates and tools

§ Responsive to all requests, particularly those from

clients, leadership and other stakeholders (e.g. CDG). As a general guideline, be responsive to

requests with an acknowledgement within 24 hours.

§ Understand the number of hours allocated to your role

on the project. Make Project Manager

aware when the hours are closed to being consumed.

§ Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of

end-to-end business processes with an impact at a project-level

§ Provide meaningful, actionable feedback to Leadership

that will lower the cost of services, reduce the time associated with various

tasks, or identify new ways to leverage technology to automate tasks. Feedback

should include an executable action plan. Impact at a broader level (i.e.

beyond a specific product, region, delivery team) within Talent & Rewards.

People

  • Support the project team on assigned deliverablesby actively participating and providing quality output

  • Connect with other members of the team, buildinga positive community and a solid network of relationships

  • Demonstrate a knowledge of who, when and how toreach out to for help completing assigned tasks

  • Provide full visibility to the team on workprogress and impediments, effectively utilizing team members withoutinvolving leadership.

  • Communicate availability and defined/ensureback-up is in place & has the necessary information

  • Continuous dedication to providing timely &constructive feedback to each other

  • Always act with integrity, honesty, respect forothers, & loyalty to the company

  • Work on whatever contributes most to project teamgoals, irrespective of my actual job title

  • Follow the standard transition process forclients that are being transitioned to Software Support and activelytransfer knowledge and provide support to Software Support during thetransition period

  • Respond to requests from Software Supportregarding unique configurations or customizations

  • Effectively guide projects and initiatives asassigned

  • Act as a sounding board for colleagues throughoutthe fiscal year, and proactively find opportunities to get them engaged inprojects/initiatives that will stretch and challenge them

  • Foster a community of trust and transparency inall project decisions, across all team members

  • Learn and be able to effectively communicate theValue Proposition of HR Software, and the “elevator speech” forall of our products

Clients

  • Enhancethe client experience by being responsive to all requests, particularlythose from clients, Leadership and other stakeholders (e.g. CRD)

  • Buildstrong relationships with your client project teams while minimizingescalations and support from Client Success Managers (when assigned),Client Relationship Directors and Leadership

  • Demonstratequality, consistency, and reliability in own work to deliver on clientexpectations

  • Clientfeedback rating measured through client satisfaction surveys completed aspart of the Project Performance Assessments (PPAs)

Financial

  • Demonstrate awareness of, and discipline around,the planned project scope by immediately escalating any in-scope tasks andactivities that are projected to exceed the number of budgeted hours – aswell as any identifiable out of scope requests – to project Leadership.Projects will be reviewed by Leadership at least on a monthly basis.

  • Complete projects on-time not to exceed 14 daysafter the planned acceptance or go-live date (when an acceptance dates isnot applicable). Documented approval or change order for exceptions shouldbe included in the dashboard. Projects will be reviewed by Leadership atleast on a monthly basis

  • Leverage GRC Delivery resources based on targetsfor configuration & testing

The Requirements

· 4-5

years of experience in human resources technology is preferred but not required

· 4 years up of

experience as a business analyst focused on Software Delivery activities

· Human

resources, benefits or compensation program knowledge is a plus

· Require strong

business analysis, requirements gathering, webpage workflow, and writing skills

· Excellent

consultative problem solving skills

· Expert

data analysis, SQL and understanding of relational databases

· Familiarity

with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Project

· Knowledge of the HTML and XML programming

languages preferred but not required

· Experience

in web design/usability/information architecture

· Experience with test plan creation, testing

procedures and test plan execution is preferred

· SharePoint

experience is a plus

· The
