Working closely with the Employee Insights marketing team and sales leaders, this role will be primarily responsible for the execution and coordination of Employee Insights owned digital marketing activities globally. Using corporate branded templates, designs and creates a variety of digital material email, social media, website, video, across the full digital spectrum. The role will also include monitoring the results, requiring skills in Excel, and learning web based software.

The role holder will be the main day to day point of contact for digital matters relating to Employee Insights across all regions globally and will therefore need to develop strong working relationships with the global and regional Employee Insights and T&R marketing leads, develop a good understanding of the business and maintain regular communication to ensure digital is providing the right support.

Digital marketing strategy:

•Work with key stakeholders to develop and execute digital marketing plans (including agreed KPIs to measure impact and effectiveness), providing informed advice and guidance that support business objectives and revenue growth priorities

•Develop plans that are focused on target audience, reflecting the practice, company size, different markets etc., behaviour and interactions of the audience, and buyer hubs

•Evaluate all digital marketing campaigns to ensure that the activity is helping the practice to achieve its objectives and targets. Use the activity to help guide and improve future initiatives.

Digital marketing campaigns

•Coordinate overall calendar of digital activities around the world. Ensures that productions meet promotional objectives. Adheres to all deadlines, best practices and guidelines.

•Ensure that all written copy is consistent within the organization promotional objectives, standards and brand guidelines, working with the marketing leads to review and secure their sign-off.

•Systematically produce institutional reports (performance by campaign, channel, organizations penetration, share and performance in appropriate online channels vs. objectives and competitors) complete with comments on progress. Prepare trends, adjust forecasts, and provide recommendations for improvements.

•Research and analyze the marketplace to identify new digital channels. Compile and evaluate research, make recommendations.

•Develop and maintain a good understanding of the full range of products, services and solutions that Employee Insights offers to clients as well as the different markets and buyer hubs that exist.

•Awareness of the e-competitive environment of Employee Insights and an understanding of how marketing strategy and plans are positioned within this to help differentiate our product offering

•Identify linkages and opportunities across regions to develop cross regional digital marketing programs that will support revenue and business synergies


•Act as the primary day to day point of contact for the global and regional data marketing leads, communicate effectively with marketing and business stakeholders (where required), provide strategic digital marketing advice, lead on planning discussions and take responsibility for the effective execution and delivery of agreed plans that support lead generation and opens up opportunities to have dialogue with clients

•Develop good working relationships and foster collaboration with colleagues from across the practice or marketing and communications function to coordinate effectively and support the delivery of digital marketing programs and activities.

Financial management:

Provide input where required to the development of the digital marketing budget and manage costs to ensure planned expenditure is met including reporting and analysis of marketing effectiveness and impact

•Support the overall operational governance and decision making processes for Willis Towers Watson, and demonstrate the values

•Any other duties commensurate with the role or level of responsibility

The Requirement

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a concentration in marketing or equivalent, digital marketing an advantage.

  • 5 years of experience in a similar role within a corporate environment for a multinational organization.

  • Experience with using appropriate online media channels to create an impression, raise awareness, and encourage a response by the target audience for the organization, its products and services.

  • Experience in delivering an optimal combination of online/digital advertising tools such as banners, keywords, paid search results, web sites, social media, email marketing, mobile phone marketing, and dynamic text (i.e., customized ad text based on customer input)

  • Excellent IT skills, Microsoft Office suite, plus an ability to grasp new software quickly. In addition, should have a general understanding of website architecture and HTML, CSS code.

  • Strong analytical and integrative skills including ability to draw conclusions and identify trends from data in a logical, systematic way

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills. Fluent in spoken and written English. Additional languages a plus.

  • Ability to learn business content

  • Advanced project management and organizational skills. A completer/finisher mind-set with the drive to deliver projects simultaneously under pressure within a fast paced environment in a timely manner regardless of any obstacles and challenges

  • Demonstrated ability to work on virtual teams

  • Excellent eye for detail and able to demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness

  • Ability to engage, communicate and lead calls/meetings effectively with marketing leaders drawing on strong digital marketing and business acumen.

  • Change and adaptability/ability to work through ambiguity
