At Wyndham Vacation Resorts Asia Pacific, it’s all about people! Information Technology plays an integral role in the company. This opportunity will see you providing support to our expansion across South East Asia with a focus on Clark based staff.

About the role...

To actively contribute to the company vision of making holiday dreams come true bymanaging and providing leadership to the Information Technology team in Clark and creating a culture of high performance, pro-activity, business co-operation, continuous improvement and service delivery,ensuring excellence in client satisfaction and resolution. With a primary focus on Clark based staff.

Working closely with the IT Management Team in Australia and being the go to IT person for all issues in the Clark office.


As the successful applicant, you should have:

Formal Education & Certification

  • Four-year university degree or college diploma in the field of computer science and/or 7 years equivalent work experience.

Knowledge & Experience

  • 5 years experience managing a team of technical staff

  • Exceptional knowledge of service and application delivery, as well as successful service level agreement accomplishments.

  • Hands-on experience in troubleshooting hardware.

  • Previous exposure to ITIL and/or ISO 20000 concepts highly regarded.

  • Previous work experience in a Multi Domain/Multi Forest environment highly regarded.

  • Strong Management and Project Management Skills.

  • Ability to plan, organize and manage a team of technical staff.

  • Ability to develop and coach staff in line with personal and team requirements.

  • Flexibility to work productively in a fast paced, high growth and changing environment that includes shift work and after-hours on-call rosters and where the department operates under constant pressure to manage numerous simultaneous projects.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders across all levels of the business.

  • Demonstrated empathy and the ability to build upon other people’s ideas.

  • Proven ability to implement alternative methods to achieve goals in the face of obstacles.

  • Ability to make sound and logical judgments.

  • Demonstrated leadership and personnel/project management skills.

  • Good understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.

  • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.

  • Ability to perform general mathematical calculations for the purpose of creating needs assessments, budgets, and so on.

  • Able to conduct research into issues and products as required.

  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment and make sound decisions in emergency situations.

  • Ability to present ideas in a user-friendly language.

  • Highly self-motivated and directed.

  • Keen attention to detail.

  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
